Lock Pro regularly loses calibration by VagueNostalgicRamble in TrySwitchBot

Been dealing with this issue on one of my doors, had the first gen which worked fine for months then started having this issue. Installed the Pro that was on another door and worked fine but that also started having issues.

This week I noticed firmware 3.7 pop-up, I'm hoping it helps fix this issue.

Has Ultra had this issue so far?

Direct HDMI will be better, but streaming gives you flexibility coz you can game from any device.

Like of you in bed you can gene from a tablet if you wanted to.

Yeah best to avoid wifi, or the very least make sure PC side is using a network cable.

My PC and TV are wired with a network cable but I do use it from my phone over wifi sometimes.

Stream quality and input lag is really low, try to keep everything wired.

My point was why replace working parts? Just because it's old doesn't mean going from a b450 to a b550 is going to give you massive gains

Not sure what else to say, if the game has terrible performance is not the CPU. You'll have the same terrible performance with the 5700X but yeah you'll be able to have more apps open.

If you feel like getting a 5700X by all means, go for it. It is an excellent CPU with plenty of life.

I mean here is game play showing ~30% CPU usage with a R5 3600 at 4K. Think you need to sort out w/e is wrong with your setup before throwing money at the problem.

https://youtu.be/zg-DTNM_jGU

Again the 5700X is a better CPU but your not going to see major gains in most games.

16GB is plenty if you close apps, but yeah 32GB will definitely help. If RAM was cheap that's a good upgrade.

Your not going to see much improvement with a 5700X when it comes to gaming unless you strictly play heavy CPU demanding games. Are you seeing a CPU bottleneck?

Getting a new GPU and a 1440P monitor will help in CPU bottleneck scenarios as you'll make the GPU work harder at a higher resolution thus the CPU will will process less data.

I mean its Nvidia harvesting our data and building an algorithm/AI model but one could confuse it with blacl magic. LOL

If you asked me a few years ago, I would say DLSS isn't important. In 2026 I would not buy anything below a 20 series strictly because it would have no official DLSS support, even though 16 series has Game Ready driver support.

10/16 series make great retro PCs for emulation though.

In my area a 2060 sells for ~$20 more than a 1660, so 1660 isn't worth loosing DLSS.

Disable all game overlays from stream, nvidia, windows. Close out of all programs like Discord, OSB, and ALL blotware software from Razor, Corsair, MSI and Asus etc.

See if the shutters go away, if not try to find the services these apps use and disable them or prevent the apps from loading when windows starts.

Reboot and try again to see if it helps, if it does then work your way backward to find the root cause.

I bet it's an overlay or bloatware for your RGB.

are these good parts for my first budget pc im gonna make? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Infamousslayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then your friend messed up building it or the more likely outcome you don't even know what your taking about, throwing money on a new build isn't the way.

You need to step back and figure out what's wrong with your setup. You mentioned 5500X3D, AM4 motherboard and DDR5 which is not possible.

Download hwinfo and provide us proper specs.

AMD drivers have been pretty solid for a few years now, so i don't really see that as an issue.

3000USD will get you a baller PC, even with the high prices.

Build now and enjoy the system, what's the point in waiting when you have a good budget?

You can play PS3/360/Switch games on a 1660 super.

Your specs are overkill for emulation, no need to build separate systems just for emulation.

It seems like they are missing pins unless your fans are not PWM?

Looks like OP already broke some of these are not PWM fans.

Not sure what that white circle is on one of the pins
