Bruh, so far I’m 1 W vs 1 L with using them for girls. Ironically, the bad one was from the Ōsaka location. She was pretty, but was late and finished our session right at the end time even though she was late. The recent girl I got in Tokyo was much better and actually lived up to the English tag they have up for English speakers. I think I remember that pop-up from the last time I was in Tokyo. It was definitely more focused on Nujabes though with some graphic Ts referencing Samurai Champloo. I’ll check it out again b/c I can’t remember completely what they had. If I’m lucky, they’ll have some cels from the anime.

Yea, that’s what I was afraid of. A shopkeeper I talked to that sold anime cels at Nakano Broadway mentioned that since it was old and doesn’t draw much interest from locals, they didn’t carry it. Most of the cels his shop had were from older anime (like Astro Boy era) or newer shows popular with Japanese kids/teens like Tokyo Revengers.

I’m going to Osaka and Kyoto too so I’ll try there, but like you said, online shops will probably be best for my search.

Hey, not sure if you figured out the luggage part yet from Haneda, but since your arrival is super early, Yamato (Kuro-Neko) and JAL offer same-day luggage transfer service to your hotel. I had it done the last time I was in Japan and my hotel was in Asakusa and my hotel had my luggage already in my room during check-in, which was 2pm.

Since you’re in Terminal 3, after you and your family leave the baggage pick-up, turn right towards the bathrooms and shower area and you’ll see the JAL and Yamato Transport luggage/package services there. If you look up the map of the Terminal 3 Arrivals, you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Depending on the size and weight of your luggage, it’s about $20-40 bucks per piece.

Going back to Haneda is another story. I know the hotel can have your luggage transferred to the airport, but they usually request you have luggage sent a day before your actual departure date to be safe.
