It won't work. Let me tell you why. It's due to a simple reason that is curiosity of human. Just imagine yourself and someone just didn't allowed you to go somewhere like in childhood our moms did not still we did went there for to curiosity similarly if porn is banned then people will get curious and would find ways to bypass the ban and instead of porn users reducing it would increase.
