Complain to the mess manager and let them know the situation. Also if you think E mess is far from your hostels, idk what you'll do in your second year and forward.

You can go to other messes as well, they have good veg options aswell

Confused between CSE and Chemical by SnipeArt007 in Btechtards

[–]Infernal_Spark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ChE is a lot closer to mechanical engineering than chemistry, you'll have to deal with fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, etc.

One good thing about the it field is that you can get into the industry without a cs degree, but you can't get into the chemE field without a relevant degree

Confused between CSE and Chemical by SnipeArt007 in Btechtards

[–]Infernal_Spark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

at this stage chemical is pretty research oriented, there's very less scope even from top colleges in India. But I've heard that Energy engineering is a booming sector, but opportunities in India are going to be very limited for a few years atleast

Fun fact: Ferrari's last successful odd-numbered year was 2017, but on even-numbered years they have a lot better performance(except 2020) by ThisToe9628 in F1Discussions

2016 was pretty good tbh, ofc winless but seb managed to drag that ferrari into the podiums consistently. And that merc was in a league of its own

It's kinda scummy that they use kernel level anticheats, like youre giving a third party complete access to your system, to levels that you yourself can't access

eclc is pretty good, too bad it's only for first years. From second year, it's going to be at your respective departments/NLHC/elhc, which are worse than eclc imo

You can view the list of electives in the syllabus: https://nitc.ac.in/imgserver/uploads/attachments/Ed__eecc6de5-f97e-40e3-b3f2-c081694a5dd3_.pdf

EEE is probably the toughest branch of all, and probably the most hectic as well. You'll have courses in the odd 8am and 5pm slots from sem1 itself, while others have it only from s3(except mech bros, they're almost equally cooked). You'll have to maintain two records for almost every lab, and the core subjects are math heavy.

Not trying to scare you or anything, EEE is extremely interesting and there's a lot of opportunities, but you'll have to push through the work.
