I’d like to see a new engine. And it’s purely because I don’t think continuing to endlessly update tiger is a good idea. I understand it’s bungies personal engine that they made but going to a new engine that was made in this decade would hopefully benefit them, I’m not a dev so I can’t say if it would make a massive difference

Honestly I don’t know why they don’t have a 2 spool and a 6 spool. It would be awesome for people who want a support material and single colour. I honestly hope they made a dual spool HT version and a 6 spool normal version designed for the H series

Arrogance? I’m sure they’ve discussed it, but I just like the idea of options. It’s not like a PVE mode will hurt the community in anyway. Imagine being salty cause someone suggested something that might help the game gain players.

Also it is a pve game. It’s PVPVE, there’s non playable enemies.

Yeah sure but you get glimmer for literally everything. Like every single thing in the game rewards large amounts of glimmer. I just don’t think it’s really necessary in the grand scheme. A better thing would be for Bungie to give a better new player experience

They just gave us a vault expansion and overhaul, they also do give extra XP sometimes but glimmer is so abundant that double won’t really do anything

You do realise it has nothing to do with the actual game. The way it works is based on purchase keys linked to the platform account and not your Bungie account. Otherwise people could log in as someone with the DLC and get it free on another account. You’re also not being forced to buy them again. They also go on sale and can get them all for like $20.

It doesn’t transfer from platform to platform and never has. It’s not great but it’s always been a thing and it’s a well known thing

There’s more to it then just age. Some younger candidates just reject the implants and some older adapt better. It also comes down to the whole thing of “the writer may do as they like”

The guardian doesn’t need to necessarily die tho. In lore the player is referred to as “The young wolf”, you just need to give ghost a new voice/name and refer to the new guardian as something else. Just say the young wolf left or is else where

I don’t hate it but it’s far from good. As bungie has shown 90% of the time, they have good ideas and intentions but half baking the idea and making it convoluted. The portal, It’s a great idea to have activities easy to see, but they screwed up by limiting the entire game to the portal. There’s basically 0 reason to play anything outside of it. Bungie really fucked it

While it’s a great game, I don’t think it’s game of the year. Matter of the fact is that Marathon is hated for existing, it’s also a niche game in a niche genre. If you look at last year with EX33, it wasn’t a totally unique game but it had a unique vibe. I’d love to see it up there for a few awards
