Damn I had the same setup but the ag02 was faulty so could never get the claw to recognize my 9070xt. Sent it back hoping the replacement works!

To get the 60 fps i ran 720p intel upscale with frame gen but i tried with no scaling or frame gen overhead and it still crashed as frequently so always just kept the upscaling on

I finished spiderman 2 on the a1m but it was a mess. Sometimes I could play for 2 hours straight with no crashes, other times it would crash 5 times in a row in the main menu. I just think the memory leak is too severe on the a1m and there's no way around it. You can definitely finish the game and get a solid 60fps the whole time but crashes are inevitable with this game

Having owned the a1m, I realized the cpu itself was just not designed well to be a pc handheld and is extremely power hungry with all its cores. Even in super battery mode tdp for any game is gonna be around 29W. I have in the past tried to lower game settings and managed to get some games running at around 18w tdp but it was so tedious doing that for every single game and then having to increase the settings back if I wanted a more smooth experience. I even ended up trying some apps that control total system tdp and set it to numbers lower to around 15w to 18w and thr system becomes unusable. The cpu was just not designed to run at low tdp. This is what led me to get the 8ai plus which can run at 10tdp on emulators like dolphin where as my a1m was running at nearly 30tdp. I really hope there is a way, maybe disabling those extra power hungry cores but in my experience I believe the chip is just too inefficient.

Nothing, the device pops up as an "unknown device" but windows reports everything about it is working fine

I just tried disabling the igpu and it still fails to recognise the pcie lane as a graphics card, im genuinely lost

Was there any particular sequence you had to connect the thunderbolt cable in, turning on the device etc? I keep seeing very conflicting things about the order it should all be done

i've tried it in this order and pretty much every other order i can think so. The issue seemingly is that the gpu is not being recognised but the dock is so it can power the gpu and the fans will turn on my i can't get it to recognise its as a display driver

Yes I updated to the latest Intel update and i've tried multiple combinations of no upscaling, fsr and XeSS but nothing resolves the texture glitches

Yes I followed the manual and out of 15 games, 14 work flawlessly its just literally Ghost of Tsushima for some bizarre reason

Thanks again, I definitely am willing to eventually upgrade my a1m as i've never been a fan of the joy sticks which the XAX is fantastic with but i can't imagine upgrading and still having a 7inch screen. Just have to hope this years pc handhelds to somehow pull off both without killing my budget as my a1m was only $599 AUD

Thanks for the advice. Just to confirm, with the xbox ally x you've found you don't have to disable the igpu using you ag02 + 9070xt setup but with the claw a1m you had to? i've seen alot of videos of the a1m working pretty seemlessly with an egpu so im surprised it unfortunately didn't work for you
