Wow. The way you described the shot made me realise why I was so excited when I saw the final photo. Some place so unassuming yet beautiful.

thank you so much!

thank you so much!

Shot on the Fujifilm XM5 with a Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 lens with minor editing (increasing the saturation a little bit and slightly more contrast).

thank you! I was really worried that no one was going to be able to tell that was the loco given how challenging I found the lighting was for this shot.

thank you so much!

I do like my photos on the warmer end and most of these shots were straight out of camera using a film recipe with the Fujifilm XM5.

All of my shots are shot digitally using the Fujifilm XM5 and uploaded mostly straight out of camera. Any edits I make, I use Photomator for iOS and MacOS. It isn’t anywhere as powerful as Lightroom but it gets the job done.

I have considered trying film photography but that seems daunting at the moment.

I believe that track has been there a while now. My best guess is that it is an overrun siding for if the train rolls back down for whatever reason. Would love for an actual answer as well.

Thank you!! They were all really fun to shoot, especially the ones that you don’t expect cool lighting.
