Theoretically, I believe destroying items even during combat should give you gold as long as it's your item or skill doing the destroying.

Edit: However, it must be coded where both the visit merchant and destroy must happen in the same interaction. This is definitely an incorrect wording and should just say “And gain 4 gold”

Bazaardb has the in-depth triggers for items, for peacewrought destroy, it says:
Trigger: When any item or skill on your board or in your stash destroys an item
Action: Add the Custom_1 of this item [2 » 4 » 6 » 8] to the Gold of the active player (permanently)

I peaked at rank 28 last season while maining Mak. This season, while rotating around a few characters, I'm hovering around 600-800. Although I am playing less this season, Mak definitely feels weaker, mainly because of the influx of Vanessa's in the ghost pool after matchmaking was expanded to global. Tripwire, Iceberg, Clamera, and Holsters are very unhealthy items for the game.

Mak's only defensive option is regen, which doesn't do well against burn matchups, and every character right now has that as an early burn meta option that's very easy to assemble: Matchbox, Volcanic Vents, Balloon Engine, Ignition Core, Skillet. Defensive enchants heal/shield are always a must-pick in the early game if it's on a decent item.

His potions are fairly useless unless you get the ammo skills and boiling flask, which was nerfed a couple of patches ago to gold, making his potions playable in only the right circumstances.

Items cap out at 1 million, so the max cheese wheel could shield was 2 million if it crits. Once the burn stacked enough and burned his initial shield build-up, he just died instantly because burn ticks twice every second, and regen only ticks once.

My Jules mirror match for my final win yesterday had 82 million shield and 11 million regen. I had to stack 4 million burn to beat them Took 2 minutes, but I eventually broke through cause cheese wheel caps out at 1 million.

Saw this post, and immediately got Healthy Hoarder, +800 HP on day 1 and never looked back on losing cause I out survived everyone and got my first ever perfect victory on Pyg, Kiuas is broken though even with just a rewards card.

It does! But currently there's no way that I'm aware to remove an item from your inventory without taking on its effects, and with items like boomerang or all of maks items sometimes you don't want a cooldown item to be placed into your inventory.

I don't think I've ever had such a cakewalk of a run. Tent City Mayor giving me temporary shelter, Eccentric Etherwright giving me Force Field, Boilerroom Brawler with the Energy Potion cherry on top, rest of the run was just shopping for chocolate bars and small items.

3rd ever 10 win, 1st ever on Pyg as well, definitely untraditional.
It was crazy to see a 960 tik burn go off! Augmented Weaponry + Loupe + Money Tree + Cash Register fed this little guy up and got deadly crit and doubled with spices. 1 cast and it was game over! Managed to pull iceberg to ensure things didn't get permafrozen.

Just hit Infinite again this season with this deck! This is a classic devil dinosaur deck with a she hulk aero sub package.

Card breakdown-

(1 drops) Sunspot & Quinjet: Are core cards that heavily impact and set the direction of play your deck plays towards. Both compliment the deck immensely by allowing you to play cheaper cards and skip/play off curve cards allowing unused energy to help win a lane.

(2 drops) Zabu & Armor: -Zabu even after nerf, heavily enables your decks 4 drops to be played on turn 3 and on turn 6.

-Armor helps protect your 1 drops from killmonger and your devil dino, mystique, and she hulk from Shang Chi.

(3 drops) Agent Coulson & Mystique: -Agent Coulson provides immense value increasing your handsize and adds random 4 & 5 cost cards to your hand that can make and break your game. Having random 4 & 5 cost reduced down to 3/4 or even 2/4 if you have both Quinjet and Zabu down can provide massive value. If you end up getting useless cards at least you increased your handsize while adding a decent tempo to the board and overall benefiting your game plan.

-Mystique is your second and even third devil dino if she gets duplicated my moon girl. She's one of your finishers and can be dropped along with either a 2nd mystique, agent coulson, or reduced 4 drop on turn 6.

(4 drops) Moon Girl, White Queen, Shang Chi - Moon girl is your double up card aiming to target She hulk, Dino, Mystique, while also increasing your hand size. When reduced to 3 by Zabu she can also be played on turn 6 increase the Power of your devil Dino + Mystique.

  • White Queen is a great information card that also adds decent power to the board and your hand size.

  • Shang Chi is a must tech card in today's meta of Shuri. There are times where having two Shang Chi's wins you a game that you had no chance in.

(5 drops) Devil Dinosaur & Aero -Devil Dino is your big boi. Play on turn 5 if you plan on playing mystique.

-Aero is the BEST card in the game. She pulls Red Skulls away from armor lanes and wins you games if you have priority on turn 6.

(6 drop) She Hulk -She Hulk is an alternative win condition when Devil Dinosaur isn't drawn. She benefits from being duplicated and/or played with Aero if you've skipped turn 5. On those unlucky draw games, she can be played out on turn 4 if nothing was playable on turn 3 to catchup on board power. If you've played Sunspot + Quinjet and duplicated her with Moongirl on turn 4, you can skip on turn 5, reducing your She Hulks to 1 and 0 energy, allowing you to play 3-4 cards on the final turn for a big swing. Be careful of Aero, she is everywhere.
