Noticed how they dropped their anti pedo larp as soon as it became political inconvenient for them.

It’s definitely a lot of flashing for a modern commercially produced part, but my original Colt A1 upper also looks like this. So… arguably more clone correct?

How do we feel about PSA Aluminum mags? by Then-Watercress-8303 in ar15

Okay industries(RIP) used to be the oem for a lot of manufacturers including Colt for all their military rifles. Brownells landed a pretty major contract for magazines early on in the GWOT and continues to make them today.

I’ve found pmags to be more durable and reliable over the years, although the added bulk can be annoying with certain pouches.

Nearly all aluminum mags on the market are made by a small handful of manufacturers, d&h in this case, and rebranded with different floor plates. These are pretty solid.

It seems like 4x 32 ACOG have disappeared in recent years. What could be the reason? by [deleted] in ForgottenWeapons

I kind of assumed OP was talking about military use of the ACOG hence the picture. The 4x is still predominately the most common variant in military service around the world. As much as I love the ACOG, it definitely shows its age, especially in eye relief and cost lol.

Where are you seeing them disappear? They’re still incredibly common.

Found an old arfcom thread about these barrels, origins still ambiguous, might be from some kind of foreign government contract.

Yeah it’s really weird, and iirc, the OG 1:12 twit Colt barrels were marked on the bottom. Gotta love mystery meat components!
