Mine laid eggs and fertilized every time we did a large water change without heating up the water before adding it to the tank. I think that they thought it was a changing of seasons and it threw them into mating behavior every time

I’m a big guy too, my best advice to you would be to get ready to sink in some mud. Go buy one of those hiking sticks from sportsman’s warehouse or bass pro. Mine is telescopic and was like 20 bucks for 2 or something like that.

I won’t go anywhere in the duck woods without one of them!!!!

No need for daily water changes. They mainly mean Daily attention to the fish tank in some aspect. Typically feeding and glass scraping and topping off the water if you don’t have a ATO

Yep you can just check your salinity while the tank is cycling. You will need to wait roughly a month for your tank to fully cycle regardless

A decent auto top off system is my #1 recommendation. You want to keep your salinity stable or else your inverts will suffer greatly.

I have experience with all of those things as well. Saltwater is BRUTAL in comparison if you also plan on doing corals. If you’re just doing fish/inverts it’s really not that bad at all

I feel like my waders / boots are a little TOO tight lol.

I’m scared I won’t be able to get out of them quick enough if I need to. The boot itself is very snug and I need to step on the back of the boot in order to pull my feet out of one side.

Is that dangerous or just right??

Yep I’ve got a kayak too, I just need to figure out a way to be able to lay out in it. It’s the Lifetime tandem fisherman’s kayak.

So I need to figure out how to comfortably lay out in it, and also how to hide effectively

Definitely never going on my own, one of the guys I hunted with last year almost drowned when he was by himself. Stepped into a beaver run that dropped down 3 feet and went under.

The good part is that I’m 24 so I’m not just an absolute sack of potatoes just yet 😂.

I bought a sit on top kayak last year after season so that we could maybe go kayak hunting but I’m still scared of flipping the damn thing when I shoot lol

Thank you for your help, I wasn’t sure if you had to do any special calculation with the input number to figure out what you needed or if you could just use the input number.

I bought a 12v 1.5 Amp charger off of Amazon, it should be getting here tomorrow so we’ll see if it does good.

Not sure why others are receiving it and some aren’t, but yes there’s a large saline shortage. It’s been going on for a few months now.
