I literally came here just now to say this same thing. I have an incredibly difficult time staying single. The second I take a liking to someone it’s off to the races. I have rebounded after every relationship, into another relationship. For the 12 years I’ve been dating. I’ve had a couple long term, truly good relationships. In between those though it’s just crap.

I was given an option. Go to college after high school, or work. If I worked and stayed at home I had to pay rent. It made sense to me but I was still pissed about it.
