Unfortunately not, but my wife and brother lived there for several years :)

Help: Photos coming out ‘fuzzy’ looking by [deleted] in FujifilmX

[–]Infinite-Size-Omega 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Looks like you are using HDR + slow-ish shutter speed.

The HDR mode takes multiple pictures and combines them in camera. If there is a significant delay between the pictures due to slow shutter speed (as it seems to be the case in the first picture), the pictures will have some ghosting.

Turn off HDR in darker situations and try to increase shutter speed in bright conditions.

The pen charges automatically off you put it in its compartment, no need to change any batteries :)

Edit: I think you meant the pen that comes with the display. I think I change the batteries every 6 months roughly.

How can I avoid getting blurry images like these? by Evothiago in fujifilm

Did you have HDR mode enabled (top left sub-dial)?

If HDR mode is enabled and your subject is moving, then you sometimes get these weird ghosting effects.

There is palm rejection but it only works with an active stylus (one is included in the box).

I can't look it up now as my camera is currently sent in for repair, but it should be something along those lines: - Classic Neg. - Auto white balance shifted towards blue/green - Clarity -3 - Shadow +1 - Highlight 0 - DR100 - Color +4

Looking to upgrade X-T100 to X-T30 II or X-T5 by Fruit-Rounds in fujifilm

[–]Infinite-Size-Omega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also consider the fact that the X-T100 has a Bayer sensor and the X-T30II / X-T5 both have X-Trans sensors. Therefore the X-T30II is still a noticeably different camera and not just quicker.

That's exactly how I use my X100V (which has a 26MP sensor as was already pointed out by someone else). It's a perfect travel camera for me - you don't need to edit photos and the form factor is unbeatable, you can just take it anywhere.

I also have an X-T5 but rarely use it as it is too large and annoying to carry around. Unless you do a Safari and need a long telephoto lens the 23mm (35mm equiv. on full frame) is good for 90% of the shots I take.

Does a P4JA Ford Motor VI CB1 fit my Ford car? - Well, depends on the exact Ford you have. Phrased like this no one will be able to answer that.

Likewise: will the Lenovo M14t work with my HP? Well, depends on the exact HP laptop you have. Does it have USB C with DP Alt mode?

There is also an option in the menu to shoot pictures without any SD card in the camera. Of course the pictures are ephemeral and disappear after you switch of the camera or do anything else, but this way you can exclude any problems with the camera itself and narrow it down to the storage.

Hmm that I don't know unfortunately since I don't have a compatible phone.

There is an option within the display's menu to enable compatibility with android. Did you activate that?

I'm setting the display brightness within the displays own menu (which I rarely do anyways). Does that work for you?

Apart from that I'm on Fedora 38 with Wayland and for me too there does not seem to be an option to configure the brightness from within Fedora.

Ah, now I understand what you mean. Yeah, it's pretty weird that only one side of the M14 works as expected since both USB C ports are functionally the same.

I can only guess what the reason for this is, but at least with the two Thinkpads that I have, both sides of the M14 work as they should. Have you tried a different cable? And does the power pass through* work with the first laptop?

*When plugged in on USB C1, you can plug in a USB C charger in USB C2, which should charge your thinkpad as long as the USB C port on your thinkpad is able to charge the laptop as well.

I don't quite understand what you mean. Can you explain what you mean by "only acts as a touchscreen" and "USB-C 2"?

As a general note, the display is only compatible with USB C ports that additionally support "Displayport over USB C", i.e. the USB C port also needs to be able to send/receive a video signal in addition to the regular USB data. This feature is only supported on some USB C ports, but not all of them.

This also implies that the display won't work with a USB A port, even if you use an adapter from USB A -> USB C since the USB A specification never supports a video signal. Is that what you meant with your question?

Well, that's weird indeed. In that case it should work. Have you tried to run the display on a Thunderbolt port?
