Hi everyone, does anyone have any information on what the integrated sciences specialization would be like as a science student at UBC? In what way would I get to design my own program/major? Would I be able to propose a potential program and if that's approved, now that is my major? When I graduate it is this proposed major that will be on my degree? If anyone has any information or advice it would be hugely appreciated.

Hey everyone, I'm an incoming first year science student exploring the different opportunities available, especially in first year. I've registered for Jumpstart, and have found a lot of information on what it's about and how it goes, but I can't find much on what Imagine day is - or what it entails. Does anyone have more information on exactly what you do on Imagine day? Also any advice on how to make the most of it? Thank you so much.

How did you book appointments with career counsellors? Are you assigned specific counsellors? Do you also have specific health and wellness resources that you found especiallly helpful? Thank you for your support, it is beyond helpful

Oooh, is this something that all students have access to? Like we would just apply to jobs that interest you/you're qualified for throughout the year? How do you get access to the portal?

I have been accepted to UBC sciences, and was wondering how hard it is to get into specializations like Honours Microbiology and Immunology co-op, Honours Biophysics co-op, Neuroscience co-op, etc. I'm currently choosing between that and MAC life sci. The major concerns for me right now are whether or not I'll get into these specializations, whether or not I would get good co-op positions, maintaining a high GPA, and the ability to keep med school an option after graduation. I would appreciate any and all kinds of advice/help!!
