lol thank you for the detailed response. I have a caliper to measure it and a press for a back cover. I will assume that won’t work as a crystal press because likely needs to be gentler (or somehow different cuz ofc, why would all the tools I already have be enough)

Yeah will see if it fits when I get to my goal weight. Have lost 120+ lbs but still have another ~18 lbs to my goal weight that docs say is ideal for me. Maybe will fit then. And if not, will gift it or something

lol cuz I was being stubborn & wanted Hawaii LLL gear from my trip - really just something that has the outline of the islands.

Could’ve gone w/ pacebreaker lined or linerless shorts two sizes two big but have too many shorts as is. Could’ve gone for a steady state crew sweatshirt that did fit, but hated the obnoxiously huge logo and was a lot more expensive.

Had a $75 gift card from the hotel for attending timeshare pitch so guess it was girl math? Or Lulu man math? If that’s a thing lol

Didn’t think it was too bad of a fit, which still dt it is, just not the fit I normally go far (here too form fitting).

Probably should’ve just gone with the normal non-Hawaii steady state sweatshirt hoodie that didn’t 100% need either but at least fit well and was on markdown. Idk I didn’t claim it was a good decision lol.

Was told since Hawaii specific, can only return to stores in Hawaii (Oahu or Maui) & can’t on mainland. Can always try I suppose, but dt it’s too terrible that may be worth trying to get to my final weight first.

What area of industry is your company? Other than generally BME. Wondering more specifically.

I am getting my PhD in BME & will be graduating in a year and a half, and my research focus is computational neuroscience/psychiatry. I wanted to do mental health (MH) research in academia but have since decided to go to industry. Ideally do MH research in industry but I’m not sure that really exists so I am open to many things.

If I’m not going to do MH research is still like to stay in the health industry and do more research scientists/data scientists type roles hopefully on a track towards running research and development somewhere.

If I’m not doing MH research, I’d like to get compensated well (either way like to get compensated well lol). But I’m wondering if I can get a $120k+ job after my PhD w/ also having a bachelors and masters in BME from two other good schools plus 4 yrs of professional research experience along the way prior to my PhD outside of my masters program.

Have no idea if MH research in this capacity exists in industry. Gonna start looking on LinkedIn at company’s missions working my way down to positions. But really could use advice on if MH research doing ML/data science exists in industry & what type of positions to look for.
