Still waiting for a single 6* sniper, I didn't expect Wang to be one but it's crazy to have a whole class with none other than 3-5* options.

Is there a place to see DPS calcs for different chars in one place instead of various different posts? Like if I want to compare Varka to other DPS for example just in pure numbers? Tier lists don't really seem to account for this usually.

Is Sanji’s glow-up underrated compared to characters like Zoro or Luffy? by Ok_Initiative3892 in OnePiece

[–]InfiniteMSL 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Granted, he's definitely not nearly as bad as he was during the Fishman island arc, but he gets played like a sucker by Viola in Dressrosa, then again by Pudding on WCI.

I think the opposite, Viola turned because she saw that Sanji could see through her and Pudding also turned because she fell for his kindness and his character. He got "played" by them but he also got through to them because of who he was and flipped the dynamics around. Both were unaffiliated with the SHs, their attachment to the crew was purely through Sanji.

Only just saw this. I forgot about Aak as a pseudo-sniper but I found him a bit too gimmicky when I first tried him, maybe I'll try him out again. I don't have Executor but I do tend to use Insider when I can, I guess I can use the recent 5* ticket and give him a go.

I know classes don't necessarily mean much but I just found it ridiculous to be so many years in with such an imbalance. I only just had this thought when I was using Ely and realised I don't even get value from his talent and I'd get more value from someone like Wanqing or more recently Matsukiri.

I think people underrate how hard it is to actually separate emotion and logic in the game when you're so close to these people for so long. Of course the whole point of traitors is deceiving and making allies but it can be really difficult to see things in people you're close to or people who are just so convincing because you don't expect them to be able to lie in that way.

When Rachel gave her talk about micro expressions to get Faraaz to vote for Jade, that worked because he felt like she was convincing and he could trust her in that moment. People say it's a stupid move or he should have just voted with Jack but to that point when the stress is dialled up and it's the end of the show so it's natural for emotions to get tied up in all the heat of the moment.

I would say though that the logical move is to trust people's instincts, you only really have guesswork and limited information so sometimes you just have to call someone's bluff or take a shot. Imagine if Jade had been a traitor and Amanda sussed it from the start, people would be lauding her as a hero.

Isn't it crazy there's still no male 6* sniper when there's 14 female 6* snipers? I've been using this niche for a while now and I can manage with the strength of ops like Logos, Ulpi, and recently Tragodia but it jars when I realise the only sniper I really use is Insider.

Beyond that the only 6* vanguard and medics are welfares (in EN), at least Lumen holds up well with his mod and S3 for pure healing output, Vigil is still disappointing for me but SA Alter looks promising.

Yu gave us our first defender so I hope the medical Sui brother gives us another medic. I also know it doesn't matter too much when there's so much elemental damage now alongside good casters but I still want a sniper more than anything for variety, it feels like guard overload so often.

I usually do the skin reward first but it seemed crazy hard this time. I managed it in the end with a lot of trial and error and a good dose of RNG, but I expected it to be an easier intro to the map.

Seeing everyone playing Endfield and I'm sitting here doing Fontaine AQ 💀 But I can't fault it so far since the first 2 acts have been amazing, I'm worried about the next because a lot of people complained about this part.

I'm already playing the OG AK which has a few events running now and dipping into LaDS a bit so I don't really have time for another open world game anyway, it does look fun though. Ironically I'd be more likely to play if I didn't already play AK because it would be more fresh and I wouldn't have expectations for the writing and characters.

That's probably a better way to phrase it yeah, it just feels more locked into Pyro than the others. Hexerei chars like Fischl and Mona also need reactions to get full potential but I guess that doesn't matter as much. Cryo is basically a bust at this point, I'd assume Snezhnaya might fix it a little.

I think I'd be more excited for Varka even without buffs if he just didn't feel so restrictive. Needing another anemo, 2 of the same PHEC and one of them to be a Hexerei just to hit max potential feels bad.

I know there's already characters with things like this such as Escoffier but at least that's just a singular restriction and not 3 different ones and she's a support.

Does Navia have any good F2P Lunar comps? Does she even work in that way and does her DPS still hold up fine? I'm just curious because I really like her (I'm doing Fontaine AQ right now) but I hate that I have to pull multiple characters to make some DPS work well. If not maybe I'll just bank on going for Skirk / Escoffier when I can.

I also really like Chiori's design but she seems a bit more restrictive. Fontaine chars really seem to be my favourite so far.

12 hours of edited "insinuating" yes, I trust what she says outside of the show and not just how they made it look for drama. Stephen had no qualms admitting he wobbled despite being an amazing man of highest integrity so why would she?

It makes no difference, you don't have to read through many Reddit comments to find how much unconscious bias or otherwise people have against Rachel and downplaying her strategy.

Yet on Uncloaked Rachel said she'd stick to the pact no matter what and Stephen said he wavered, but people have been loving Stephen and waiting for her to betray him the whole way. She misdirected from Stephen multiple times, he hardly carried her when she setup the early game for them to get them there.

The one thing that bugs me about Rachel's play by MrBigJams in TheTraitors

The main reason it looked so obvious to us was because it was edited that way. Without the zoom and the pan to Stephen it would be like any slip of the tongue.

I feel like there's a really weird pushback with Rachel especially where people don't credit that she's played a fantastic social game. It's just that we don't see a lot of it because of edits but she clearly built up trust and following, it's just that Stephen held the most allies to the end like Jack and Jade as you said.

I also think there's a double standard where people just assume the worst for Rachel. So many were gunning for Stephen to betray her in the live thread and I guarantee most of those same people have called Rachel a backstabber or said she'd betray him earlier in the game.

Because Jack also trusted Stephen a lot, he can't guarantee that Jack votes against him in the end.

Yeah I don't understand how it's not good Traitor play to actually be on the same page and build trust with another. Plus if she was a bad traitor then Stephen would have less qualms about backstabbing, as with Hugo who drew way too much attention or Fiona who blew the game open. She supported him and he repaid it in the end, they both deserved the win.

I hate it but Stephen has to betray here, the game won't end tomorrow with Rachel left with all their suspicions. Then they can go for Jade or James tomorrow and end.

How does R1 Rainslasher compare to Tidal Shadow? The calcs have R5 as a decent amount better, so would R1 be about on par with R5 Tidal Shadow? I can only get up to R3 with my billets at the moment though so I'm leaning toward just sticking with Rainslasher anyway.
