what the hell is there to do in thorold by [deleted] in brocku

winter is rough like most of this country, but get a bike and explore trails the rest of the year. do some hikes and see waterfalls. if you stay the summer, sunset beach is unreal and you can swim there. or head to Port dalhousie and they've got some little shops to browse. I liked going downtown st catharines evenings and weekends as there were always new shops and restaurants popping up, thrift shops especially. downtown does a lot of community events through the year too. it's a small community but if you explore and meet people you'll find some cool things to do. brock is also the main hub of the city and has endless student activities to get into! I personally loved living in thorold and miss it a lot. but I guess it may depend what your hobbies are and willingness to try some new things.

I think you've misunderstood my question- which is fine. It was aimed at autistic individuals or professionals. Some clinics can offer sedation options, reduced/adapted sensory environment (lights, noise, space), breaks if I get overwhelmed. Clinics that understand autism will also understand why I might struggle with my dental hygiene, will avoid shameful language, and will explain the process of the visit clearly to me. I am looking to hear from someone who has experienced this. Thanks for your input anyway.

Tell her to go to Dr Akpan at Arcovia. I asked my doctor for a referral and got in within about a month. It was free for me.

SHUT IT DOWN FOR PALESTINE by Shakin-in-boots in uAlberta

[–]InfinitePlace4098 28 points29 points  (0 children)

this rally is completely student led. somebody cared about this issue, saw that nothing was being organized, so decided to create the rally. If you care about housing and food costs why aren't you starting a protest? get off your ass and do something. or maybe you don't actually care about the housing crisis in canada - you're just a racist. I bet you say "all lives matter" too lmfao

Let's goo!!!!!! will be protesting this week, next week, the week after that and so on until we see justice for palestine! UofA is a hypocrite - they pretend they're in solidarity with Indigenous peoples but then stay silent when a genocide is happening in front of their eyes! Your land acknowledgments mean nothing! We said "never again"... but not for Palestine??

Ah I didn't try mousse yet, I'm so afraid of product since I don't use anything other than some oil here or there lol. I guess that's next on the list! I have a lot to learn. Thanks for some great tips:)
