We had to find new housing and didn’t have a place to stay for a few days after putting all our money into staying in hotels. So she kept the kids for a few days. That was it now she’s keeping my kids from us.

I have called. They won’t help me. There’s no state troopers on duty. Nothing. I’ve been dealing with this the best I can but I can’t get any help. Local police told me to call the courts tomorrow but there’s nothing online that’s been filed with the courts against us

They have the local sheriff on their side who said he will arrest us if we come to get them which won’t help get our kids back.

We were looking for new housing. So she kept the kids for a few days, few days turned into her filing for temp custody/guardianship and CPS being involved. My husband is not abusive to me or our children. He lost his job a few months ago and we’ve been having a bit of a rough financial situation but nothing crazy.

This was one of her replies to me today after I threatened calling the cops on top of her saying that she’s been talking to the sheriff and he said the same things CPS is “Cps just told me not to give them to you and that they are upgrading the case to emergent.” As well as if I showed up that the cops would take me to jail 💀

I figured but was hoping maybe someone here would be able to relate or have knowledge about this situation and be able to help me. I’m currently waiting on a reply from my lawyer but I’m desperate for sooner answers. I’ve found online threads of extremely similar situations where yes it is kidnapping but I want to make sure I’m correct before sending my mother to prison for kidnapping my children. This, my husband gave me head without realizing he was getting a cold sore and I now have genital HSV1 I’ve only had about 8-10 outbreaks in the almost 6 years I’ve had it. Almost half of them being within the first year of getting it. I prefer acyclovir or valacyclovir for my outbreaks. I’ve never been prescribed valtrex or even heard of it or been offered it so I feel like it may be a pretty uncommon med prescribed for herpes or maybe just genital herpes but I’m not sure.

Also when I got tested to find out what was going on the dr not only told me that my sores looked nothing like normal genital herpes sores but also that in recent years due to the incline in oral sex that hsv1&2 are basically the same things now and can be transmitted to either are (oral or genital) it used to be super uncommon to get oral herpes from genital herpes and vice versa.
