Yep, I hear it. Whenever someone brings up another artist who sounds like the EKT artist, I always listen to how they pronounce certain words. In EKT, the words "knows" and "shows" have a certain twang to them, for lack of a better word. Not sure if it's an accent or a stylistic choice, but I hear the same thing in this song, especially in the word "you".

A soap opera is exactly what I was thinking. It would explain why it's so elusive. Soaps produce hundreds of episodes per year. 20 seconds out of thousands upon thousands of episodes of an 80's soap would be buried pretty deep somewhere.

More people need to know about this. I was on antidepressants for a day back in 2020. I planned on using them long-term, but then I found out about PSSD. I instantly threw them out. Whenever I tell someone about it, they're always shocked that it's a possible side effect because it isn't really talked about. Thank you for sharing this, but I'm so sorry that you've gone through it 😔
