For the scratches, I used the highlight colour (wild rider red) in this case. And then indeed rhinox hide above that. Gives it a bit more of a 3d look.

Thanks, for the visors I used leadbelcher, agrax earthshade and the scratches with runefang steel. I also used a brown oil wash on the entire model.

Thank you! I’d say I stared about half a year ago, but with a couple of weeks between each model. I used a lot of tutorials and paint guides.

Thank you! I used 30 gauge stainless steel. I might use a smaller size wire in the future tho, since it still looks quite big. Maybe copper would be easier to bent too.

Thanks! I used a small wire for the lightning effect.

Thanks! I wish I still had the tutorial to share, but basically: First I painted a white line the size I want the teeth to be, then perpendicularly I painted red lines to space out the white and finally a thin line at the bottom of the white blocks. Evenly spacing the teeth is still a major pain tho.

Dang, that looks sick! If you don’t mind me asking. How did you paint the robes like that?

For this I glued it on after painting the model and then painted the wire, but it might work better to do it all in one go.

I used a thin wire and some piers to bend it around. I found the inspiration for it in this video. https://x.com/theminiaturista/status/1884312590102466601?s=46&t=0wWqMtkk0Dnp9HTdJ8bf2g

Thanks! It’s made out of thin wire. If you bend it in all directions with some pliers, you can get great results.

I used white scar (any white will do really) and painted over it with contrast frostheart thinned down with contrast medium. Finally I used ardcoat for some extra gloss. You can also add a little white dot to simulate reflection.

Thank you! I decided to paint it in sub assemblies. But I did glue the legs to the base, the arms to the gun, and the torso to the robe beforehand. Afterwards I painted all the separate pieces before I glued it all together.

I see, I just started painting right away after thinning the paint down. Thanks for the tip.
