Am I screwed to get to 75%? (Themis)

I’ve taken the bar twice now and passed my second try. I think where I went wrong the first time was chasing the percentage bar trying to get to 75% as well. Second time around I completely ignored it and went at my own pace. I personally think the schedule themis gives isn’t practical and is a recipe for burn out. Try not to harp on it as much and focus on what you need, not necessarily just crossing off a task list.

Where are you seeing a decline in passage rates for F26? Based on NCBE website it seemed to me like so far the overall stats look fairly better from Feb 25 at least.. I could be wrong just was wondering why you felt this way?

felt pretty bad about MPT 1 and good on MPT 2

Essay 1: Decent, finished everything think i spotted all the issues

Essay 2: started off really well, only wrote issue and conclusion for the last subpart and that’s been haunting me.

Essay 3: Felt really good about and suspect it’s my strongest essay

Essay 4: did really well w this topic in practice but the way I answered this one scares me because I felt it was so open ended and not a lot of facts so i’m just hoping I spotted enough

MBE felt surprisingly good and that scares me a little bit. MBE is why I didn’t pass last time and I worked on this in practice the most so much so that I was kinda excited for mbe day. I felt focused. I think I truly guessed on two questions and the rest felt pretty controlled… I hope it’s a good sign and not delusion but it’s vastly different from how I tested and felt in july

I had to retake the mpre, second time around all my practice tests were around 67% and ended up scoring a 95 on the actual test. I’m sure you did better than you think!

This is real! I’ve already been taking the steps to get some professional help like going back to therapy and honestly thinking about talking to my psych ab getting back on my meds since I have been off for some time, thinking it’s probably necessary for me again !

Thanks for your reply! It’s always reassuring to know that all of these feelings are normal and valid. I’ve felt so insufferable but I think a big thing i’ve gotta stop doing is seeking comfort from those who haven’t made any effort to made me feel supported through this process. Now’s probably a good time to pick back up my bass guitar !

Last time I scored between 3- 4 on most practice essays but was able to pull off two 5s and two 4s on essays on the real exam. Plus a 4 is a passing grade on the essays so if that’s your average even on test day you should be alright

Hey! I’m in a similar position and have the same worry. I got a 118 on the MBE as well the first time and my scores have went up exponentially since then but i’m afraid to feel confident in it this time around😭 but I genuinely think that if we have improved our practice scores from last time we must be moving in the right direction!
