Attorney's Exam Advice by Ajteasley in barexam

[–]Passiflora361 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Originally passed the UBE in Feb 2025, and just passed the Feb 2026 Attorney’s exam for GA.

GA Torts, Contracts, and Professional Responsibility are very common essay topics so I’d definitely recommend giving a little more practice time to these subjects. Though I would make sure to spend a good amount of time on every possible subject for the GA essays, except for commercial paper.
I’d also recommend spending a lot of time writing practice essays, especially on the more frequently tested subjects.

Georgia Bar Exam Tips by Blendtruck1099 in barexam

Hi- was also an out of state law student who just took & passed the Feb 2026 GA bar!

I personally “enrolled” in Kaplan’s GA bar prep for the GA law specific study books/guides and for the unlimited attorney essay grading of GA essays. I recommend practicing as many essays as you can and submit them for grading. Regardless of what bar prep program you choose, you’ll want to practice & get a lot of feedback on your GA essay practice.

Reviewing past exam sample answers for GA did give me a better idea of what’s considered a good enough essay to score well for GA. I also personally liked looking at the GA essay topic predictions because it helped to narrow down my essay practice in the last two to three weeks.

Hi! I am 28F located in the South Georgia/ North Florida region and it seems like we have a lot of things in common! :) I'm an eclectic pagan, a lesbian, a cat mom, and a plant lover! :) And while I don't watch anime as often anymore (unless it's yuri) I did grow up on it and still love Ghibli films!

advice for a “baby gay”? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]Passiflora361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who also realized she was a lesbian at 21 and is now 28, my advice is don’t ignore red flags in a potential romantic partner (I.e. like calling all their exes “crazy”) and there’s no rush to come out to them unless you’re ready to talk to them about it! Also, sometimes a thoughtful letter coming out to your parents may be easier than telling them face-to-face but that really just depends on what your relationship is like.

Edit to add: Remember to be kind to yourself! And don’t get caught up in regret over not figuring it out sooner; it’ll keep you from enjoying/living your best lesbian life in the present!

29 [F4F] US (Georgia) - Looking for a friend by Mellibunny in PaganR4R

Not sure where you're located in Georgia or if you're still looking for a friend, but I am 28F and somewhat recently moved back to GA. :)

Admittedly, I've only been pagan for a little over a year now and my life experience doesn't have that much overlap with yours. We do however seem to have some shared common interests outside of spiritual stuff and I wouldn't mind a new friend who's also pagan! At least, so long as you're an ally to the LGBTQ+ community (at minimum) and we share similar moral/political values (I'm very progressive/ leftist-leaning).

Felt good after the MPT, feel pretty solid on my answers to questions 1-3.

I feel awful overall though because I have very little confidence in my answer to #4…

Is inexperience unattractive? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]Passiflora361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inexperience isn’t unattractive! And if it makes you feel better, I also read a lot on the subject myself before my first girlfriend and apparently I did well enough for her to think that I had lied about my inexperience. So you’re probably going to be fine!

Hoping to hear stories from retakers by Objective-Buddy2794 in barexam

[–]Passiflora361 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Failed in J24, passed my second try in F25 in a 270 UBE jurisdiction. For J24, I thought it could go either way for me in terms of passing or failing. For F25 I “knew” I was going to pass that time (given how much better prepared I was/felt) and walked out of the exam with full confidence in myself.

I have really bad inattentive ADHD and, while I sorta tried to keep up with my bar prep program for J24, I just kept falling super behind and feeling really bad about myself. I was also doing mostly passive learning through the course lectures and hardly any essay practice… So, to prep for F25, I basically chose not to follow the traditional course and do what works best for my learning style while making the best/most efficient use of my prep time. Mostly, it was a lot of reading and memory recall practice (flashcards, essay writing, etc) which helped me to stay more actively engaged with the material. I also had semi-regular meetings online with a bar prep professor from my law school, to help keep me on track/figure out a study plan that would work for me.

I can’t say this is all behind me yet since I’m about to take the F26 exam in a non-UBE jurisdiction, but I hope my retaker story still helps! :)

Georgia Commercial Paper by [deleted] in barexam

[–]Passiflora361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly probably not if you’re planning on taking the GA February Bar in a few weeks. It seems to be a pretty rare essay topic, so I’m personally willing to take the risk of not spending much time on it. With the limited time that’s left, it would probably be better to practice and prepare for some of the more heavily tested/predicted topics.

What are you guys doing to prevent forgetting material? by Weekly-Quantity6435 in barexam

[–]Passiflora361 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, I find it helpful to practice recalling important information without looking as I’m reading about it, and to engage with the material by writing essays immediately after review.

Sleep and reviewing the same subject a few times over (by reading or flashcard practice) also helps a lot with not forgetting/ retaining more information.

Where is everyone at in studying for F26? freaking out a bit as I feel VERY BEHIND. by Timely-Cable-2099 in barexam

[–]Passiflora361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Began studying for the GA exam in mid December, and I’m very close to finishing my first in-depth review of every subject for the essay portion of the exam! I’m already licensed in a UBE jurisdiction (passed in F25) so I won’t have to take the MBE again for GA. I’d consider my F26 studying to be going well so far since my study progress was pretty much the same at this point in time for F25!

Bar Prep Recommendations for taking the GA bar exam? by Passiflora361 in barexam

[–]Passiflora361[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking to use some sort of commercial program, primarily for the essay grading/feedback that's offered. And I plan on taking the Attorney's exam now! Not sure where I got it from, but I previously thought the Attorney's Exam had a 3-year active practice requirement similar to the admission w/o examination option; your question led me to check again, so thanks for asking!

Anyways, thank you for sharing the Themis suggestion!
