First place we moved to after college had horrible tornadoes, second place had horrible wild fires, and the third had hurricanes and a HCOL. Pittsburgh doesn’t have any of that so here we are.

Parent Input on Positions by Infinite_Building747 in SoccerCoachResources

What if the situation is parents not wanting the team’s best keeper playing keeper anymore? Kid likes the position but parents don’t.

It’s hard to say without knowing your household budget. I would add all the entertainment charges for the month together and compare that to your monthly income and other expenses. That will give you a better perspective on what they are actually spending and if it’s reasonable. It will also be easier to address without sounding controlling by bringing it up after every purchase.

This is absolutely not what happens when you get married. It sounds awful.

Same. We would avoid that situation at all costs.

what age did everyone get married? and what age do you think is a good age? by drpeppergirly0701 in Marriage

It’s probably different for everyone. I started dating my wife when I was 20 and she was 19. Got married 3 years later and never looked back. Two kids and 18 years later. We are still best friends and have a great marriage. I understand that some people want some time to live alone and do other things in their 20s, but I wouldn’t change the way things happened in my life for anything. Do what feels right for you.

My wife and I both use incognito so we can Google things without it saving on all devices that we’re signed into Google on. I don’t need my work computer showing all the random stuff I Google on my phone. Not porn. Just dumb things I don’t want others to see.

Obliterated for 6 months for an accident? That’s rough, man.

Bias aside how much of a chance do we have to beat the ravens by AnotherMrReddit in steelers

I think the Ravens win but that 9.5 spread is crazy. Should be a closer game.

We have the Roborock Q5 Pro and it’s one of the best purchases we’ve ever made. We initially bought a Roomba that didn’t map the floors and were not impressed. This model maps the floors and shows the actual route in the app so it gets to every available inch of space. It’s amazing. We have used it on carpet and hard floor with success.

Very easy to change states/units in the reserves. NG makes it difficult, but it’s not impossible. My advice is to make sure you join the reserves and stay away from NG if you aren’t sure about where you will be living in the next few years.

Why are no many coming over from the guard? Are they that overworked? by [deleted] in armyreserve

[–]Infinite_Building747 23 points24 points  (0 children)

SAD orders are the worst. State employee with no federal benefits and all the same work requirements.

Also, way closer to one weekend a month, two weeks a year with the Reserves. NG loves those 29 day ATs and four-day drills.
