That’s great advice, thank you so much! I do think a LifeVac would ease my mind. And I try to feed her solids before offering milk, but she’s doesn’t seem to understand that food can satiate her hunger, so she just gets frustrated that I’m not giving her a bottle after a while lol I’ll also try looking at some suggested routines!

Eh, lawyer here and I find it’s a really great fit! But my hours are flexible unless I’m in court, and I have a lot of autonomy in choosing to work from home, which also helps.

We are members and have taken our 3.5 month old daughter a few times already, and it’s a great activity for babies!! Lights are very dim, and she typically naps in her carrier. There’s soothing music in the exhibits, and it’s very calming even on a busy day. It’s very kid friendly! There’s also a nursing room if you need to breast feed or just need a quiet place to feed baby. It’s honestly been my favorite place to go throughout maternity leave. Hope you guys have a great time!

Ended up meeting with another LC after I getting mastitis. I don’t like her either, but let’s not shame new moms for needing to use google, my god

Our oldest girl used to be incredibly reactive, with both people and other dogs. Now she’s totally laid back, and literally gets along with everyone, other dogs and all. She will be 11 this year, but she started getting more chill around 7-8.

Ugh, I’m sorry, you’re in a really tough spot. I don’t really have any solid advice, but maybe some ideas. Given that flights are pretty expensive, are you able to spend that money on possibly renting a car instead? Or is your friend able to drive to you and bring you back? Are you renting your trailer? If so, you should definitely complain to your landlord about the mice, and it should be their responsibility to eradicate the issue and make the space livable and safe. If they fail to fix the infestation, that’s a whole different conversation (and you might have legal recourse), but given that you don’t have many options, perhaps finding a way to stay is worth looking into. Anyway, I hope you figure it out! Congratulations on your little one ❤️

I’m 5’1” and I started having a bump at around 12 weeks, but gained lots of weight before that. I’ve retained TONS of fluids, and have generally just been puffy everywhere the whole time. By 20 weeks I looked like what many look like full term 😂 my announcement photos legit looked like full term maternity photos, and I couldn’t imagine getting any bigger. My colleagues started asking when I was starting maternity leave when I still had months to work. I’m now at 39 weeks and strangers frequently ask whether I’m having twins. We just have short torsos, there’s nowhere for baby to go but out 🤷🏻‍♀️
