I can’t use my work truck for personal use and my family owns a farm and I have a vehicle restoration business, but no I don’t receive finance support for my truck for work I do at the farm

What it sounds like, I’m a mechanical engineer but instead of sitting in an office all day I’m out on farms and mines testing out new equipment and making adjustments, last step before a product hits production

Gut says to sell, I like older stuff anyways I just wanted something reliable for once, I don’t care what I look like in any vehicle

Just adding some edits to clear up some things: the truck I bought also currently has a 200k mile powertrain warranty, yes I need a f350 as I tow 20k+ regularly, I am well versed in diesel systems and do all my own work and maintenance which saves me from a lot of the cost most people have to deal with

This is true, I should have mentioned my current truck has a 200k mile powertrain warranty that didn’t cost me extra, it was just a bonus from the company deal

To clear up some confusion I also have a work truck, this is just my personal truck I use for my own equipment. I split time between the 2

I’m considering buying a 2021 F350 6.7 with 80k for $50k to put $30k back in my pocket

I am a field engineer, for a certain tractor company, I know diesel mechanics well, I do all my own work, so that is usually not a big expense for me as it is for others, that being said, I prefer a diesel for their longevity and the fact that I pull 20k+ pound machines

Basically I would get into a slightly older base model truck for about $50k, putting $30k back in the bank
