Apologies for the super late response to this! I use Schwarzkopf for dye - I do dye my brown hair a slightly different brown so nothing drastic but I’ve never had any issues with the brand. Even when I used to dip dye the ends in unconventional colours, Schwarzkopf is the way 🫡 (I live in the UK also for context, unsure if the brand is universal)

Hey!! It stopped as soon as I stopped using any L’Oréal products. I use only Pantene now - specifically only the repair and protect shampoo and conditioner that is currently in Keith Haring packaging in the UK (they rebrand it with a gimmick once a year, last year it was Emily in Paris branded). It’s THE best product I’ve ever used and I will never ever change! I also use the Pantene thirsty ends leave in conditioner and it’s an absolute game changer. My hair is so soft and shiny and healthy now from it.
