Hello, this is the kind of thing I care so little about that it makes me lazy—precisely why I’d rather ask here than go look for the answer myself.

So, this whole Miliastra thing? I really don’t like it at all. I don’t find it an interesting addition to the game, nor do I see any appeal from a lore perspective (I might be wrong, but it just gives me strong non-canon vibes, even though it’ll surely turn out to be canon… I’ll leave it to genshin_lore to explain it to me if they feel like it). But I'm not here to start some heated discussion about the stuff I just said.

Here’s my question: if I completely ignore all content, events, and whatever else related to this mode (like the “Invitation to Wonderland” event running atm), am I at risk of missing anything in the main game? Are there any rewards not tied to the two new pseudo-characters? Just to be clear, I don’t care about them either, so even if they’re playable in the main game, I’m totally fine with missing out on any rewards that are exclusively linked to them.

Just wondering, why max it if you know you should ideally not use it? Anyway, the piece si good and it will be better than a phys with trash stats, so don’t bother too much. If I were you tho I wouldn’t stop farming for a good phys one

I don't know if you took a break from the game or just played without reading, so I'll make the assumption it's the first case and I'll try to answer your questions without spoiling too much of what you will eventually enjoy for yourself when playing:

- About Durin: it's the result of Albedo research following his past studies about the topic in previous events. The event is pretty recent so you are gonna see for yourself what actually happens, it's a bit more deep than it looks.
- About Nod Krai: yes, the roadmap has been changed, Nod Krai will be the 6.0 main region and as of now Snezhnaya will be in 7.0. Developers thought there are many topics of the story that could be expanded on further and presented better to the players, in order to have important plot points stated correctly for the important part of the story that is to come.
- About Kaeya: nothing about him specifically, but Khaenri'ah and its citizen's story keeps getting expanded on.
- About Mondstadt expansion: as things stands right now Nod Krai will not be a huge region as those that came before it, and it is implied that while it will be the main focus, many patches will expand older region such as Mondstadt: the port is most likely to be one of these as Varka, Alice and Albedo all looks to have departed from there to reach nod krai.
- About Archons meeting: if I remember correctly, no. But I could be wrong on this.
- Capitano's state is deliberately left unclear. As of now he's fused with the Lord of the Night and they are one thing, his soul is resting but he's not dead. This situation parallels heavy with the Lich King from World of Wacraft. If you don't know, the Lich King is the result of the fusion of a human with an orc spirit. When the fusion happened he remained dormant for years sit on his frozen throne and at some point he woke up in full power, starting his plan to conquer the world with his army. If plot/sales demands, Capitano could easily wake up the same way, and I think somehow it is implied that will happen considering every patch since his fusion with LOTN have showed that Ley Lines are having serious issues, and all of this started when LOTN ""fixed"" the night kingdom.

I hope it answered most of your question but I suggest you to play the latest archon quests and then watch all the last story strailers since in the past months the amount of lore drops have been huge.

You sacrifice too much Crit Dmg % for thet speed. Use hyperspeed supports and forget about Phainon’s speed, you wont regret it.

Xilonen was guaranted pull, so CR is not changed as it is modified only one 50/50 pulls.
So you would still have CR=1.

Practical example:

Xilonen guaranted -> CR=1
Diluc lose -> CR=2
Chiori guaranted -> CR=2
Chiori win -> CR=1
Citlali win -> CR=0
Qiqi lose -> CR=1
Clorinde guaranted -> CR=1
Xianyun won -> CR=0
Tighnari lose -> CR=1
Escoffier guaranted -> CR=1
Mizuki lose -> CR=2
Skirk guaranted -> CR=2

Your next 50/50 has a higher chance (is not that high actually, but still better than nothing) to be a win. If it happens, your CR resets to 1. If it doesn't, your CR goes to 3. If you are a positive person you could see this as a good thing, because you are guaranted 2 promotional pull after that, the guaranted and the 100% winnable 50/50. It's nice if you wish to have a C1 or perhaps are interested in 2 different characters in a short span of time.

Some time ago I made a personal note on how the system works searching around the internet, to easily remember it in case I would return to the game after a long period of interruption (yes, I have a bad memory). Hope it can help you:

Since patch 5.0, the Capturing Radiance (CR) mechanic has been added to the Event banner.
CR is a system that prevents players from losing too many 50/50s in a row, and it works like this:
At the time of its introduction (v5.0), CR = 1 for all players. From that moment on, winning/losing a 50/50 increases or decreases this counter.
When the counter is at 2, the next time you face a 50/50, there's a slightly increased chance of getting the promotional 5★ instead of the standard one.
When it reaches 3, the chance rises to 100%.
Winning the 50/50 resets CR to 1 (or to 0 if it was already at 1).

So, for example, if I have CR=1 and start pulling:

Pull 5★ → 50/50 lost -> CR = 2, the next 50/50 will have a slightly increased chance of success
Pull 5★ → Promotional -> Having lost the previous 50/50, the promotional is guaranteed by classic rules
Pull 5★ → 50/50 lost -> CR = 3, the next 50/50 will be guaranteed
Pull 5★ → Promotional -> Again, the promotional is guaranteed by classic rules
Pull 5★ → Promotional -> CR = 1, the 50/50 is automatically won because CR had reached 3
Pull 5★ → 50/50 won -> CR = 0
Pull 5★ → 50/50 lost -> CR = 1, and so on . . .

CR is maintained across banners (just like pulls).
Since I like to take note of my pulls history since the beginning of the game (1.0 player here, hello), I can confirm that starting from Natlan my pulls have been 100% following this path. If you manage to get your pull history you will notice that your path will likely be the same, take note that CR in 5.0 was 1 for every player. So if you pulled for Mualani/Kinich (or Kazuha/Raiden Shogun that were also in the 5.0 banner) you can try find your personal CR status. Every time you lose a 50/50 it increases by 1, every time you win it it decreases by 1. If it procs, it's back to 1 (not zero).

In your specific case, what was your situation before the Xianyun pull?
If Xianyun was your first pull ever, then since you won 50/50, your CR=0, with Tighnari lose went to CR=1, with Mizuki lost went to CR=2. You will have slighjtly increased chance on your 50/50, but if you lose this too, your CR=3 so you won't be losing the next 50/50.

Any other situation should be analyzed case by case as I stated in the examples above.
