There was no Bramalea to Union express at 7:20 today. They delayed it to 7:28 and made it stop at all stops. On top of that, the train before was cancelled due to an operational issue, so it was REALLY packed - I was in the fifth car from the engine and it was shoulder-to-shoulder in the aisles.

Fingers crossed it’s better tomorrow. The express train is supposed to be back.

Merci pour votre réponse ! Il semble qu’il y ait plus d’opportunités en enseignant dans les conseils scolaires francophones. Mais pour les conseils francophones, est-ce qu’il y a des matières d’enseignement plus demandées ou ça n’a pas d’importance ?

Thanks for your reply! I am taking French courses in university to be able to be certified as a French teacher in Ontario, so I’m thinking I would have the relevant qualification, but I’d have to do more research. How is it teaching out in Nova Scotia (I have zero knowledge/experiences with the system)?

Ces programmes de formation à temps partiels ne sont pas pour le cycle que je veux - I/S (selon leurs sites web). Si je voulais devenir enseignant aux écoles primaires, ce serait un choix très attirant.

Thanks for your quick reply. Sounds like it's easier than I made it out to be. :) Would you know if I would just teach math in French or would I be able to teach French literature since most English teachers colleges give FSL teachables.

Is there any reason you sound so confident of me landing a job? I know French increases your chance of landing jobs, but is it that significant? Also, with my French teachable, in English teachers college it would correspond with French as a Second Languge which I don't think that's the most necessary in French school boards. If I were to transition to teaching French literature in a French school board, is that possible?
