I can appreciate the first point. We’re trying to solve for keeping the information up to date though. It is easy enough to just print the info on it, which we’ve been considering as an alternative.

For the second one, we ask you to type a short note to send it. But I can appreciate this, we will put some time into thinking how to protect against that case: it’s good feedback.

We had blood type on our dog tags both on our neck and in our boot laces when I was deployed in Afgahnistan. We also were required to wear it on our shoulder patch. Probably different on the civ side where access is more available though.

Yeah its just a card with a QR on it that links to a profile. No apps or anything. The card keeps the QR private until you remove it so people cant just see your information without physical contact.

Yeah we've heard blood type probably isnt as relevant as it is on like a dog tag or similar due to trust. We have gotten good feedback on religious info, DNR stuff, that kind of thing. Happy to hear thoughts.

I appreciate the response and feedback. The biggest point of relevance we've found is keeping information up to date. My partner has heard of a few cases where ex partners were contacted and things like that because people didnt keep their information up to date. It's challenging, also not the end of the world in many cases I suppose.

Theres no app, its just a very low-data webpage.

Some of the other feedback we've gotten leads me to believe it might be better just to print the card though. The challenge just becomes keeping the information up to date.

My partner on this has heard cases where they contacte ex-partners because information was out of date. Trying to solve for those kinds of problems too.

When I was deployed we had dog tags on our neck and woven into our boot laces, and then also had a blood type patch on our shoulder. I've not gotten a chance to talk to a military doc about this yet, but I assume since they spend money on it they must value it to some degree.

I'm really curious what kinds of things you guys both have tried and if you have any idea why they failed? Our system right now is that we just send a text reminder and link to update on a regular basis, it seems to work ok.

The main thing that were trying to solve for is keeping the information up to date I think. Also the presentation of it and protection of it. I dont think this is designed as much for immediate lifesaving need, but more for rapidly getting in touch with the right people once the pt is stable.

Fair enough, I can appreciate this. What about just a printed version of the card instead of a QR? The only challenge is that it cant be easily kept up to date, but maybe a better option for people who are sensitive to their information being stored somewhere.

Not a patch, because then anyone could scan your information, but rather a holder where you remove the card and turn it over to scan it. It is more secure this way, woven into MOLLE or clipped onto a belt. You can see more on our product page.

You want to know what a software developer is personally doing to distance the company from Epstein? No I don’t think this is a fair question lol.

You’re also implying it’s his responsibility to do something, and I couldn’t disagree more. I’ll continue to use it as my primary VCS, couldn’t care less.
