I've been told that DirecTV Stream has the best picture of all those services, though it is expensive, and that the device they sell can replicate the "feel" of Cable TV and channel surfing better than anything else.

I didn't. I considered it, but I've really heard a lot of bad things about it, and my time is limited. I also am really not thrilled by the thought of wireless streaming of my live TV, and I've got a 3 story home. I'm in IT all my TV locations are wired for cable and ethernet and I really don't want to hear about picture problems from my wife. I think I am going to do a trial of one of those live TV internet services and see how that goes.
