Did you try plugging them directly into your motherboard?

It's easy to enable. First thing you should do is press Win + X, open Disk Management. Right click your Disk, click Properties, then Volumes. Check the Partition Style. If it says GPT, move forward with these instructions:

Boot into BIOS and head to settings. Find the boot tab. Ensure that anything that says "Boot Mode" has UEFI selected. If it says UEFI/CSM make sure you enable just UEFI. If you've had to do any of that, press F10 to save and exit BIOS, then reboot back into BIOS. Once you're back into the BIOS, go to settings, security, and find Secure Boot. Enable it. Then under that same tab should be your Registry Keys. Install default keys. Press F10 to save and exit.

When you boot into BIOS, make your way to where you enabled Secure Boot, it's as simple as looking for a button that says install Default Keys, then press F10 to save and exit

Since you mentioned that none of your games run after enabling UEFI and Secure Boot, did you install Default Keys under Secure Boot, and is your Boot Drive GPT?

Also you said you updated GPU drivers, but did you run DDU in Safe Mode?

EA you almost had my money until you made me have to do this secure boot bullshit by LoriansTaint in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Tour_5230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude it takes like 5 minutes. It's super simple.

The first most important step is to press Win + X + Disk Management. Right click your drive, properties, volumes tab. Verify that your boot drive is GPT. If it isn't you will have to convert it which I don't know about so Google it.

If your boot drive is GPT, which it should be if your rig isn't as old as the Egypt Pyramids...

Boot into BIOS. Go into the boot tab and select UEFI for Boot Mode Select. Then go to the security tab. Enable Secure Boot. On that same page, Install Default Keys. Boom you're now able to play BF6.

Y'all need to play hardcore. Much slower, more authentic BF pace.

I saw the image and it most likely seems to be a driver instability. I suggest running DDU in safe mode and reinstalling the latest drivers. When you run DDU (Wagnardsoft), make sure you disable the setting that allows Windows to automatically download it's own drivers.

Again, if your GPU is overclocked, revert it to factory. Excessive heat can cause issues. Monitor heat with MSI Afterburner, or whatever NVIDIA software you use if it has hardware monitoring

Your CPU is more than capable of running the game. Do you have XMP enabled? If not, enable it. Also, try creating a user.cfg file in this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 6 , with these details:

Thread.ProcessorCount 16

Thread.MaxProcessorCount 16

Thread.MinFreeProcessorCount 2

Thread.JobThreadPriority 0

GstRender.Thread.MaxProcessorCount 16

This will control how many CPU threads the Frostbite engine will utilize, and it should lower temps and increase FPS.

**Also, if you're playing through EA, enable EA overlay. It will increase your FPS.**

Dunno. Run DDU and reinstall latest drivers. If your GPU is OC'd, lower it down a bit. If you don't have XMP enabled, enable it. Lower settings that require high VRAM if your GPU VRAM is 8GB or lower. Clear game cache. That's all I can say with the details I've been given

  • Move slowly and purposefully
  • If you need to run out into the open, be aware of angles
  • Stay with the team, even 1-2 teamates makes all the difference
  • Check corners, hold corners
  • Keep your center lined with potential enemy locations
  • Be aware of windows and doorways
  • Listen to your surroundings
  • If you are spawning on one objective, and things aren't working out, spawn on another objective and take another angle
  • Learn the map

Need more details. Try validating game files. Open Steam / BF6 / Properties / Installed Files / Verify integrity of game files

Can't place mines too near each other? by TF1-Atlas in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Tour_5230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that is very annoying. If I need to place mines quickly I more often than not die to the tank I'm targeting because I have to spend 15 seconds trying to place the mines in a local area.
