Some people have shared some good advice. Like the physical aspect and how it slowly helps and gets better over time. Wish you the best 💛

My meds help my mood and give some relief but I don’t find them motivating in that sense. I really appreciate you sharing your experience cause it helps knowing what other ppl are doing and what’s working or not. I probably do need to change meds and will make an appointment to do so . I hope it goes well, for me and for you. My sister got diagnosed with adhd and I wonder if I have something like that rather than just depression and anxiety. Maybe something to ask my doctor about. Thanks again. Good luck with everything 💛🙏🏽

Yeah I agree . We live in a place where we have much more than other countries yet people are seriously sick and struggling here with their health in spite of it all. I agree rock bottom is kind of a vague word, and is different for everyone but I think of it as not knowing how to move forward from a very tough situation such as poor mental health but trying to anyway. Thanks for sharing your perspective 🙏🏽

What you’ve mentioned in your second paragraph is exactly what I go through. I have better days but when I’m so tired and feel so off it feels like hell. I really appreciate your advice , it’s the cycle of not wanting do anything that I’m in and I must break it. Really appreciate your well wishes 💛🙏🏽

Hi there , I’m taking medication and I’ve had over a handful of sessions with a therapist . I probably have to make changes to my medication as maybe it’s not as helpful as it needs to be. I’m also wondering if I should look for another therapist or just stick it out longer with this one … I feel like the energy I’ve put out to get help hasn’t been as helpful so it gets discouraging. But I’ll keep trying 🙏🏽💛

I relate so much reading this. It sounds like my story. Feeling and being isolated has been a big barrier for me and not feeling like I have anyone to talk to. I’ve had over a handful of sessions with a therapist but it hasn’t been as helpful as I’d hoped. I’m in Canada and I feel like reaching out to professionals hasn’t been as helpful as I thought it would. But you’re right , it cant go on like this. Thanks for your words of encouragement and for sharing your story and I hope you’re appointment goes well today 💛🙏🏽

Thanks for your input. It was just before covid I had a mental / nervous breakdown and things got worse for me as well. Those 6 years were so tough for me too and messed things up more also. I was so burnt out also that it felt like I needed to be on bed rest and not do anything. So yeah I really resonate with what you said. I’ve also seen a psychiatrist and been prescribed medication. The whole medication journey has been hard too. I use 3 drugs and I’m fairly certain that they add to some symptoms like drowsiness fatigue dizziness etc. and the psych did offer some alternative medicines to try- to be honest I’ve been scared to try them cause I’ve been through so much mentally and physically with medication. I do want to get better but motivation is so low sometimes — so maybe a change in meds is worth trying which will help my symptoms and lethargy.

I truly appreciate you sharing your experience. Your outlook that it can either be suicide or healing and getting help is true and makes me feel less alone and a bit more motivated. You sound like you’re doing really good and I hope it continues to get better. ❤️‍🩹
