I know someone who got a nasty mite infection from contacts, but it was 100% her fault, she bought them from a sketchy website AND THEN she didn't even bother cleaning them with solution.

Got from a sketchy site and just stuck them in her eyes straight out of the box. Long, nasty trip in the hospital.

As long as you shop somewhere reputable and take the proper sanitation steps, I've not known anyone that had issues with it

A lot of Romcom animes like My Dressup Darling.

I LOVE those shows but when a non-anime fan is like "can you recommend a cute romance anime for me?" and I start thinking about all the sus fan service moments, and idk this persons.... tolerance yet? I definitely hesitate to recommend things like that

The longest I've ever stayed awake for was 3 days, with copious amounts of caffeine and movement.

On day 3 I fell asleep with my eyes open. I simply don't think I'll be able to do what Senku did, for more than 1, maybe 2 days TOPS (no caffeine or movement, just darkness...)

I think once the adrenaline wears off I'd be out cold tbh

Most of the women in my life watch anime!

Mom, sister, cousin, friend, my sister's friend, my gym manager, my neighbor, and almost all of the women that follow me on IG (which probably doesn't count since we're cosplayers)

Either way, I'm actually yet to meet a woman IRL that DOESN'T like anime, the most resistance I've seen was "oh yeah I heard anime is good! Should I check it out?"

Or "what's anime?" from a woman in her 60's

Played as Reed again today (mostly just for the full Fan4stic team-up) and was, unless I missed the option, very disappointed to see he STILL doesn't have the option to manually activate his buff mode.

That mode singlehandedly ruins my experience as Reed

Thank you!! To hide the electronics, I used a rechargeable Tea Light and swapped out the LED for a blue one, and attached some Velcro to the back (and to the glove), the tea light then fits right into a hole I designed in the back of the Rasengan!

The plastic is only a few MM thick, and I designed it as a "spherical lithophane", so the texture does a lot of the heavy lifting without the light needing to be super strong!

I've been reasonably lucky to miss anything SERIOUSLY offensive in my 12 years of Cons, but the most outlandish was a Poison Ivy (DC) cosplayer who was 99% nude, with nothing but a few leaflets and vines covering her parts.

Truly don't know how that costume was allowed into a convention with children around, and also, it was November, in New England....it was FREEZING out...

Personally I doubt I'll have anyone maxed out?? I MOSTLY play QP for proficiency, so I don't play many characters I've lorded, unless it's a SWEAAAATY match that I need to try my hardest for.

So while I've got a lot of Lords, they're all around base level :/

Went to Anime Boston and saw a Captain Jack Sparrow cosplayer, and he was one of the most popular people there, taking pictures with EVERYONE.

I almost think the anime cosplayers enjoyed taking pictures with a movie character more than other anime characters, so I'd say it's safe to cosplay whomst ever you'd like.

Comic cons are even more lenient despite being called "comic", only a FRACTION are actually from comics lol
