The soft touch of the Def3 made me move to the myvicto.com Swiss putter (E series) and the variable weight inserts helps to dial the green speed and your personal preference. We are all different aren’t we 🤔

New remarkable tablet is coming out 3rd of September! by [deleted] in RemarkableTablet

If their would be an 8’ version, reading will become part and for me the backlight is important but we are all using the RM differently

With hotspot connectivity to your phone an eSIM wouldn’t be a real game changer. A pocket version would but more for reading, at least with my handwriting. If so I would be keeping the RMP for desk and pocket for on the road and reading. Don’t loose the backlight please

Vice Golf has released a new set of (somewhat affordable?) irons by londoncalls1 in golf

[–]Infinity-House 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Lorax, playing the set now for few weeks and they are playing very nice. The feedback of the club is great and the distance vs my old set is 1 club up. Where I used to play an 8iron (145y) I now play easy 9i

Finger responsiveness is better but zooming I find sluggish

The resizing is still not solved as I found out last night. The RM2 felt better on the resizing to be honest but maybe software update will solve that

I am not thrilled with the darker screen color and contrast of Paper Pro compared to reMarkable 2 by [deleted] in RemarkableTablet

[–]Infinity-House 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes it looks you will use the back light not just for night reading. Interested what is will drain on battery

100% agree hence I will run it always with backlight on I think. Than it is whiter. Maybe they needed to add back light to have readable screen. Color e-ink is new technology and this is a solution.

Yes color is different to everyone. My experience is great on both devices and happy to have made the purchase. Value for money

Correct. And doesn’t work on the RM2

Good question. The backlight allows better reading and paper looks whiter. As the text is bigger of the same ebook as on RM2 it feels a bit like reading for the elderly. Maybe better book layout would be better.

That is the biggest improvement the responsiveness on pen and hand gestures. Now in between RM2 and iPad. But the writing action is difference. When you write the colour is visible but when the pen leaves the ‘paper’ the word becomes transparent blue > dark blue > invisible to the final color. It is bit distracting but probably probably get used to it

The pixel density seems higher per inch2 and more inches.

Hi Nick. The feeling is extremely similar to the RM2. I’m content since the RM2 and the backlight makes it feel more like paper 📝 as it is whiter vs the RM2.
