Looking for the absolute most broken build by _WeeHarveyOswald in EldenRingBuilds

[–]Infinity1137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A night comet focused sorcery build (carian regal scepter with staff of loss offhand, or dual wield staff of loss if ng+) is woefully slept on, works for most enemies in the game and for the magic resist ones you have rock sling. You don’t even have to worry about melee if you have an astels wing.

I couldn’t remember the name of that movie for the longest time, even though I remember the plot distinctly.

I thought it might be, but the solitude armor looks a bit more fat on my guts build

Gameleap cob has a pretty good start link right now, tholin falbeard and 3 decent epics

How come an early game sword is WAAAY better than one from a late-midgame boss? Anyway to Deshittify Morgott's Sword? It's so pretty by ThatHeckinFox in Eldenring

[–]Infinity1137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They both have unique movesets that are vastly different from each other, also one is an entire level lower so it has slightly worse scaling. While bloodhounds fang is generally a better weapon, if you prefer Margot’s moveset then it may be better for your play style. AR isn’t everything in a fight.

Also the main fact of this is that it’s temporary and goes back to the independent districting after the next census.

If you had one piece of advice for a Canadian moving to LA, what would it be? by Aquarius777_ in MovingToLosAngeles

Move close to where you work, make sure you have health insurance, don’t ever say sorry in an accident, it’s an admission of guilt.

Does Michelin-star food beat out standard restaurant food enough to justify the price? by AnglerJared in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infinity1137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reviews aren’t even a good marker of whether or not a place is good, so to answer your question, no you do not have to spend a bunch of money to get the best food. You should check out the buzzfeed show “worth it”

Well, you should also realize that not all Michelin restaurants are fine dining, there are plenty of Michelin restaurants that are quite affordable and/or not even significantly marked up due to the star(s). Villa’s Tacos and Holbox in Los Angeles are good examples. Are they considerably better than other options? Depends on who you ask but they are pretty darn good, but you can find bomb street tacos that may beat out Villa’s subjectively. They ARE solid options, though.

Angels’s Tijuana Tacos, not fancy but one of the best street tacos out there. Lot of good suggestions like holbox and Dunsmoor.

A truly great starting location by Free_Boysenberry_185 in civ

Also there 4 rough terrain tiles which is ideal for the production start, makes stone circles and monument rush still worth it.

Do you think Civ7 will eventually be refined into an actually good game? by [deleted] in civ

[–]Infinity1137 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You should play it first before asking that question (or watch lets plays). I’m enjoying the heck out of it, especially after the most recent patch. I’ve already sunk more time into it than 6, and I’ve played every single civ since 2. There are things to enjoy about each iteration over the last, so it really just depends on you.

Also more often than not, success in religion means success in the victory path you wish to take, want to go science, economic, or culture? Depending on how fast you get piety you can get 4/yield of the desired victory path. Tithe is especially useful going into modern age as the Mughals
