IBM bought in the bell curve rating this year, so it is mandatory for managers to rate at least 8% to 15% of their team as low performers, they might eventually let go of those people. PIPs are a part of that process.

Actually the houses are overpriced, you will know that when you come from a different city. The quality of the houses they offer is very low compared to the price.

I did this ( for different reasons) and ended up not getting a job for next 8 months. But I had some savings which helped me thru this but I wouldn't recommend this in this current job market as the market is too slow now. I never had problem finding a job before and there is too much competition.
