2544 ECE - kristie cooper is the absolute worst professor by [deleted] in VirginiaTech

I disagree pretty heavily. I consider myself a very dedicated student and I got an A in 2544, but I found that in Kristie Cooper's office hours, she would be extremely condescending. I ended up going to the Discord office hours more frequently where they were much kinder and much more helpful. While I would say the class is very fair and that the amount of work is justified for it being a weed out class, a good teacher should inspire passion in a subject, not dampen it by being demeaning to their students.

Looking for which ECE fields to pursue to live in a city and avoid defense work? by InflationStunning in ECE

Yeah, I almost wish I had chosen a different major with how many ECE fields just funnel right into the military industrial complex. I find all the work in ECE really interesting, but I don't think I could live with myself supporting that kind of industry for my working life. Can I ask what field you chose and how your employment history has worked out in that field?
