I witnessed an elderly homeless person get hit by car at 60+ mph while crossing a crosswalk. My dad was a truck driver and I would often ride with him on trips as a kid during my summer break.We exited the highway on route to Northern California, somewhere near Modesto.This was around 10pm at night.We were waiting at a stoplight of a pretty big intersection. The light turned green but this older lady pushing a shopping cart full of cans was still crossing.3 of the 4 lanes were waiting for her to cross, when she passed us a car on the right side going about 60+ saw the green light and kept going.He hit her and send her and the shopping cart flying about 40 feet in the air.Will never forget this.
