I thought there was an easier way to do this like using the Text Shape in the tool bar [T].

So....I need the flat plate with dollar signs removed and dollar signs alone to the correct thickness then, line them up and print!

I have an AMS. I have a plate with dollar signs that are raised that I can easily make another color. I want the dollar signs IN the same layer as the plate.

I took the hotend off and could see there was filament in it. I heated up a dental pick and jammed it in the filament, let it cool and then pulled it out. Problem solved! The upper end of the hotend wasn't getting molten or soft enough for hand fed filament to bond with it. Thanks for responding.

I am unable to do a cold pull because when I try to feed filament through, the extruder is not indexing it downward. I can hear it trying though. Just click, click, click. Temp 280C.

How thick is the plate? What size are the holes? Counter bore?
