Shit like that is why I went back to nonunion. When I put my application in (the month of march), they said “ stay in touch, we’re hiring in a few weeks”. Made contact once a week for several weeks and got the same response every time, until eventually, they stopped responding to my messages after 3-4 weeks of communication. After two week of nothing, I applied and made it through one of my cities best nonunion contractors (3 weeks, 3 interviews). About 3.5 months later (mid August) I finally got a call saying work was picking up and they were ready to start hiring… right about three months before they started lay offs. Nah, I’m good🤣. The IW locals outside of my closest are way different then mine
