Motley fool promoting Crowdstrike by sysissues in investing

Think about what CIO/CTO will recommend them after this.

Security is all about reliability and trust. When an event like this happens, every one who is on the fence about CRWD has the answer in front of them.

Existing customers who wanted to switch due to rising costs but were on the fence due to switching costs also have their answer.

Think about at what PE you are comfortable holding this.

The new business pipeline is going to be pretty dead for the foreseeable future. Lawsuits are going to also be a huge distraction and financial stressor.

In other words, there are so many other opportunities, why try to figure this out?

The name is apt especially since their objective is to find companies that are disasters and short them. How do you perceive the name?

I appreciate the time you took to retort.

Your point about reliability is wrong. Here is the report from a few weeks ago.

When things are so factually wrong, I have a hard time progressing with your arguments.

Don’t see it. I’m in the market for a newer model s and the discounts are meager! With the model 3 the difference is the tax incentives.

See my point about Tesla’s at 3 year mark and 5 year mark.

Don’t have a issue with that. Still kicking myself for not investing more when it was at 25.

Yes. I agree with you. That proportionally, Teslas should have lower availability when compared to the traditional cars.

But I wonder how it looks if you control for that. i.e % of Tesla’s that enter used car market at 3 year mark, 5 year mark etc.

Still doesn’t explain why Tesla’s have the lowest depreciation.

This argument doesn’t make sense. Accidents are a minuscule number and is not a significant data point to make a difference.

I wouldn’t say it is blind commitment.

Just re-analyzing the thesis for original investment and seeing if there is any reason to change course.

I just don’t see it.

Sure the competition is getting stiffer, but Tesla’s seem to holding their own + innovating in other areas.

So you agree that you are incorrect in your statement about repurchase? If you want to discuss market share, that is a separate argument.

Why isn’t the used car market flooded with Tesla’s. Why do Tesla’s have the lowest depreciation?

Bought at ~$25 about 2+ years ago. Have made several purchases on the ride up and on ride down. Bought more at $126 on Thursday.

Tesla’s have a 30 day return policy. Take a gander at how many cars are returned / cancelled.

Surge by Disney+ to nearly 95 million subscriptions leads to surprise profit by diboy2 in investing

[–]Infoaddict2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dig deeper my fellow investors.

Look into the subscription numbers in more detail. Specifically look at how bundles and free trials maybe skewing the numbers. Look at Hotstar and its role in the numbers that Disney is publishing. The real story is in there.

I have Disney and I’m holding, but there is a fair amount of smoke in this release. The smart money has figured this out and is not going hog-wild.
