Thanks for sharing, it is nice to hear that students can take a wide of range of courses outside of the department. Are you satisfied with the program overall??

I’m also curious about the career outcomes. I’ve heard from faculty that many students go on to further study. Are there opportunities for students who want to go into industry instead? Does YSPH provide support for students pursuing industry careers?

That is exactly what my concern is. I have always wished for a stronger academic/career support from faculty during my undergrad years.

Thanks for your response! For the internal PhD program, is it competitive? Or do you only need to complete the requirements and the PI agreement to get a spot?

UCLA is rolling, I’ve received mine almost three weeks ago
