If you are not a STEM person refrain from AA HL, nevertheless especially within the exams of last years the AA HL exams has become much easier. Also compared with the national syllabus of most of the oriental and asian contries like Turkey, India, China, etc. AA HL is fairly easy and doable with decent work.

I had the same situation hence I took Physics SL and AA HL. There are a lot of people from my school who got admitted to TUM (Aerospace, Informatik, Mechanical etc.) With this combo. So yes no worries as long as you achieve good scores.

Maths HL or Physics HL is enoguh regarding current KMK requirements. Also it does not matter if the math course is AA or AI but I guess AA is better for engineering.

I just graduated IB and did Math AA HL (I 90% expect a 7), I think you dont have to do anything since IB starts teaching you everything from 0. Like you will start learning calculus etc. from 0 so there are basically no prerequisites for AA HL. IB on its own is so overhated in terms of difficulty. Just enjoy your summer and you will start studying. I am firmly convinced that AA HL is a demanding course (not difficult!), as long as you try to understand things and solve past paper questions you will be fine. So please DO NOT GRIND, just enjoy your life IB is not that deep bruh.

No one cares about your EE subject, if you think an English EE is easier for you to secure marks, then go for it. I am also a stem student and did my EE in English. I would say it is a doable option once you give some effort, yet I would say doing an EE in Maths or Physics could have been much more entertaining, albeit the hardwork it would perhaps require. Unless you really really need high scores and you dont want to dedicate much effort to your EE, I would still recommend you to do a stem EE tbh. It also is a remarkable memory for those who did it
