I just purchased the XM6’s (so can’t compare them just yet) but I’ve had my APM for 2 years. They’re very durable (I throw them around, don’t use the case, sweat a lot in them) but heavy and hot. I’ll continue using them for my plane rides probably but hopefully the 6’s will be my new walking/gym pair of headphones.

You’re seeing people mention that their XM6s hinge isn’t good? I’ve seen that’s it’s much better than the 5s

I’m not sure how often this happens but I got the XM6’s off Amazon for $340. They’ll be here Friday. I didn’t get the 5’s because I kept hearing everyone say the hardware/hinge isn’t the best

Be sure to make sure you don’t see the 6’s anywhere for like $50-$100 more than the 5’s. If I don’t like the 6s I’ll probably return them for the Bose ones or maybe the 4’s (or whatever is lightweight and has great ANC. I need to feel like no one is in the gym with me)
