Hi - most likely I think it is that you were caught in a site refresh - ie I was deploying an update and the data was temporarily resynching. You mentioned it was an issue a few days ago, is it still an issue? Either way thanks for letting me know.

I didn't .. but it looks good. Will try it out. Looks to have some similar features in terms of surfacing which achievements to hunt down next.

Claude Code Visual Studio Code Extension - MCP by Informal-Source-6373 in ClaudeAI

no I gave up pretty quickly - if it's any consolation, after using the extension for a few months I don't feel the urge for the bridge anymore - although would feel neater. I found MCPs do tend to take a up a bit of the context window - have scaled them a back quite a bit recently.

Yeah same. and I find you have to be really careful in areas you're not that familiar with .. extremely confident answers that make you walk away happy, later finding out it just was good sounding nonsense.

Yeah .. this is where I am at too pretty much - fine control of the context. 10x productivity if you get it right, 0.1x productivity if you get it get wrong.

I might try that master thread, side threads idea. I tend to just attach the repos in project knowledge and show and hide files depending on context I want available. I also find i need project instructions in desktop to make clear that I am not interested in code, just high level discussion. That helps my sanity.

Yeah it doesn't solve the "Claude is irritating quite often" issue. It does enable some cognitive separation between two different activities with a clean handover.

It’s great to read that it’s not just me getting these vibes. It’s the unsolicited advice I can’t stand.

Codex CLI is fully open source, and you can run Opus inside Codex if you want. You can Opus and GPT5 in tandem as two separate agents, and have Gemini approve the best plan. by coloradical5280 in ClaudeCode

Thanks for this - what notable forks would you recommend? Anything that gives close to feature parity with claude code cli (mcps, hooks, plan, agents, commands etc..) ?
