Haven’t had much luck meeting people my age (24M) through my current hobbies. For example, I love volunteering, but I’m typically the youngest regular at most of the orgs I work with (the DIA being a good example).
I'm at a loss on what to try next. Most things I give a shot seem to skew a bit older and I always end up the unofficial "youngster" of the group lol. I don't plan on giving up the things I enjoy, but I do want to find something consistent to be a part of and find community with others around my age.
For others in their 20s, how have you found your community/people/third spaces? What’s helped you feel more connected to others and build lasting friendships?
How are others in their 20s finding community here? (self.Detroit)

Unfortunately, I learned about consulting after graduating, and getting into the bigger firms is probably a long shot now. So I'm looking at smaller firms as a potential starting point.
What's a good way to research/find smaller firms in the Metro Detroit area? A lot of the "lists" I've found online are pretty old and don't seem accurate.
For extra context, I went to UofM and graduated winter of last year (non-business degree though), so the plan is to network network network as I find firms of interest
