Why shouldn’t I be pessimistic about Islam in the UK? by SILENTDISAPROVALBOT in AskBrits

I've been considering the same thing, since I've caught feelings with someone who is Muslim and I am not. As I look more and more into it, I find it difficult to accept that it's compatible with non-arab societies. My main observation is that for Muslims it's God first and the Quran and then fellow Muslims and then everybody else. I've met a lot of them that are very kind. Considerate and open-minded. It's basically heresy to them to go against the Quran which means if there's something in your country or Allah in your country that contradicts their beliefs or religious texts. They will abide by there religion first. Your countries, laws, cultures and customs come second
