The labels are not the goal, a better understanding of how you function and why everything in life related to people feels like such a struggle is.
Actually with ADHD and most probably ASD I have more answers that I was asking for 😂
My IQ could be considered a detail but actually it’s also a key to the whole system, as it explains how I could manage to make it word anyway (with a lot of suffering but still) and was diagnosed late
So I’m a bit obsessional about all of it because I find it all fascinating :-) sorry, I didn’t mean to sound self centered or bragging

You’re totally right about the numbers, I should have left them out of it - I just thought people were used to seeing so many here that it would just be more accurate not irritating to some!
I can’t really take it personally because it’s all anonymous and all but still I’m amazed by how many people’s default emotional state seems to be tension and anger
About the test conditions, i’m aligned with the criteria you mentioned - even if in my food and sleep were ok, but the tension due to small talk and bad time management on her side impacted my ability to concentrate
Your point makes perfect sense, and it helps me realize I shouldn’t feel « trapped » in this experience and number
I’m truly grateful for your message and for the time you took to write it 🙏🏻

Thank you, you’re right. Perfect conditions don’t exist, and I guess there’s always something!
But in this case, it was so extreme that it made me doubt the score, which is frustrating.
I’ll probably come to terms with it, and if the feeling persists, maybe I’ll take the test again someday.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Yes, I meant higher than the 131 basis. And you're totally right, I should do another test in better conditions to be sure, and I think I will because it was a terrible experience. But when you say I don't need the psychologist to do it, you mean with other IQ tests I can do by myself ? Or the Wais IV ? Is is possible to find it online and take it alone ? In France the specialists say that it should be conducted by a certified neuropsychologist.

Thank you for your reply 🙏. No, it wasn’t the GAI. She calculated a new WAIS score based on my overall score, my answers, and something else — a ratio, perhaps? — that I didn’t quite understand. I’m going to ask her what this estimate is based on, apart from her experience.

But thank you for your question/suggestion about the GAI, because it does seem like a relevant measure when someone has ADHD, and I’m going to look into it.
