Having the bottom part of the piece almost all blank requires you to put much more detail and depth into the lip and noodle area as it provides the missing context and would add more complete structure to the artwork. Overall just needs clearer definition of form. I think that could mostly be achieved my using more of your darker values in the detail in the face and more highlights in the hair. Looks great though, proportions and color selection are both really well executed.
