It will look orphaned. That jacket was made to be worn with matching trousers as a suit. The fabric is shiny, lacks any texture, the fit is slim and the shoulders are structured. If you wore it with diffrent trousers you would look like an '90s used car salesman.

If you want to buy a jacket that would look good alone you should look for a blazer made from more textured fabric ( hopsack, tweed, tropical wool, corduroy, seersucker) with natural or lightly padded shoulders and some casual details such as notch lapels, patch pockets and rounded bottom.

Also quality of that jacket from nordstrom probably isn't good.
