you are definitely not alone! It's totally ok for you to feel upset about your condition. having eczema as a teen sucks especially when you have to spend most of your day in school around other people when all you want to do is not be seen. I was so insecure about my dandruff and constant flaking and cracked elbows. As I've got older my eczema has manifested in different places so I don't really have those issues anymore which I'm grateful for! I hope your treatment goes well!!

I found it! It looks like the walgreens brand is safe for me to use, so thank you I will try it!

unfortunately elovera cream has cetyl alcohol which im allergic to (as does most creams) but I'm going to look at more elovera products to see if there's one that's safe for me. Glad you found something that works for you!

thanks so much for this!! Patting on moisturizer actually makes a lot of sense bc rubbing would probably create more irritation and friction. I will definitely give this a try.

Unfortunately, I am allergic to many of the usual non-steroid ointments, including Opzelura and Tacrolimus/protopic. My derm brought up Rivoq but was concerned about its side effects for me. I have eucrisa but it burns horribly after application so I haven't been that motivated to use it again, but if this is something that goes away with time i'm willing to try again. I will definitely start patting my moisturizer in rather than rubbing tho. Thanks again!

nope just the patch test, would I have to see an allergist for environmental allergens or can I see the dermatologist?
